This just gets me!

Check this out on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...471416&r=0&t=0

Did his sister just let him take off the Type-S badge??....Mine has been stolen twice already (luckily with no damage, but a good $35 for a new one)

There were 2 debaged Type S's at the NY auto show. I will yank those S's off any car that doesn't deserve one! I hate when people deface others property.

Question on the related topic - if I take my badges off will there be a mark left, showing that there was a badge? The reason I am asking is because I really want to remove the 3.2CL TypeS Badging and just leave that acura emblem and the word ACURA, and thats it

That's what I was thinking...but would you really wanna support this alleged debadger?

Maybe with the TL-S being sold now, my car would be less of a target for badge theives

Ruvz: if you need a badge I have an extra one you could just have

Arik, you can remove all of the lettering of the rear of the car except for the big "A" cuz it's actually bolted through the trunk lid...

Not if your car is new and not sunfaded. Use a heat gun (hair dryer) and dental floss to get it off. It's just double sided tape.

No marks will remain. Check out the pics of my car with no badges (link's in the sig). I used dental floss to remove them, then waxed the area real good.

Those $5 sales can stack up! you gotta support those crack users! For all you know, you might be buying your stolen badge back

Maybe I should hook up a couple wires to the emblems from the battery .....hmmmmm :->
