Got a TSX loaner (Glorified Civic, but nicer than a pos ford or chevy i was threatened with in another thread j/k).

I went in for:
-sunroof rattling (typical)
-Poor braking
-Tranny
-Cracking paint on hood (small but noticable)

I have yet to hear later on today about everything but the paint issue. I keep my car clean, take care of bird shit asap, but the guy suggested my paint was cracking due to bird shit.

"This is typical of bird dropping that were left on the paint. It has bascially eaten through your clear and casued this cracking."

I was like whatever, but was thinking... this is a new car i pamper it and wash it atleast once every couple days, there is no way i would let this happen.

anyways i just want my car taken care of.

 

what do you mean by "poor braking"? car doesnt stop? lol

 

poor braking...it feels weak.

Sometimes sterring wheel shakes while braking. I think it's the rotors. I only have about 10,200 miles on the car so i doubt the brake pads are going.

 

TSX is hardly a "Glorified Civic"

 

It's a nice car, it's quick for a 4 banger, but i don't like the center console (it's brand new, auto, no navi) just seems too plane. the way the interior is shaped feels like it high in the back and low in the front even though it's not. The seats aren't as meaty as the CL and are too stiff (I feel the the CL's seats are alot more comfortable). I do like the radio controls better (bigger screen, looks alot nicer than CL HU). I do not like the look of the gauges except for the color scheme. I wish the Cl had a coin holder like the TSX does rather than that fake ass ash tray i am using in my CL. I like the stock rims better than the stock CL-S rims

It's a nice Car, i think it handles great and picks up speed well, but i would not buy it. Again as Zapata mentioned if it had AWD that would be a different story.
