I don't think so man, it only lost by a few points.. Don't think that's the shaft. You really think it was that terrible?

At first I was like whoa the CLS did really well. Then the more i thought about it the more I was like, wait a minute. CLS is a better car overall and it should've done as well as it did. I can see the argument for the 330ci but they make it out to be the m3 and it isn't. The CLS has more value, costs less to maintain and rides more like a luxary car than the 330. Sure I can make the CLS handle like the 330 with springs/sways/shocks but it won't be the same SMOOTH ride as was intended from the factory.

The article gave alot of praise the CLS but seemed to pick the 330 just because it's a bmw. Nobody in their right mind can drive both cars and chose the 330ci. I'm sorry but 7k minimum price difference and then the maintainence issues/costs associated with the 330ci is enough to scare me away. Yah, fit and finish is nice but not when it comes down the basics of car ownership: 1-driveability(weather conditions), 2-cost of ownership(gas, service, insurance), 3-value, 4-reliability.

I hate when people complain about cheap plastic. You know the S500 has the CHEAPEST looking plastic and cloth you've ever seen or felt? The car costs 100k.

Fun factor. Yeah BMW gets the slight nod. However, daily driving isn't done at LimeRock or Laguna Seca.

Long and short....yes i do think the results of the comparison was wrong.

Holy cow! That's one of the few comparo's I've seen where BMW didn't win. Actually, I just realized it's Road and Track, not Car and Driver. The TL comes in behind a Saab. A SAAB!!! Geez, that's basically a Ford.

I don't see anything wrong with the G finishing over the TL b/c it is a new design and Infiniti (nissan) has done a great job with it. The 330 finishing over the TL is questionable but is still debatable. the IS 300 is a over priced POS no idea y it even came close to anything else in the cat. The A4 is a good car but is not 5 gand more then the TL so that shold put the tl over it and the 9-5 is nice car but it is over priced and build quality is questionable. I have never been impressed with the materials and craftmenship it Saab interiors.
