I don't know, but from what I've read, stock & no mods means it's not going to do much. I hope you didn't pay for it. The $ would have been better in other mods.

and I'm gonna quote my last post from the 1st gen CL forum since it applies to this thread as well

So now I've got the wires run but I've disconnected the VAFC until I eventually get those custom cams installed, but who knows when that'll be though.
I have a VAFC just to clarify

Seems like you haven't the slightest clue what an AFC does, in which case I'd advise you to not even bother with it. (Especially on a bone stock car)..

yea man, its really useless unless you have mods, because its suppost to work WITH your mods ie. headers, intake, pulley.... so if you install it now, you will have to tune it again everytime you get a new mod. im not sure if its true but i also have heard that our car's ecu recognizes it eventually and overides it i think.... so research before you install anything in your car...gl

The point is that even on a modded car that vafc doesn't do much. It's basically not designed for the CL. The cl engine & ECU are not as "programmable" & you won't see anywhere near the gains you would see on a 4banger even when modded.

you wouldnt even get that much cause you need to tune the car at the dyno n plus you have no mods. if you do header intake n exhaust the most you will get with tuning is ten more hp to the wheels. i went through that it was not worth the money. you should have done your ecu instead you would get more power than the v-afc
