No, not the tranny, but listen to this! So this is my first post on this site and I have had my car a grand total of 7 days now. BTW its an 01 CL-S, Black/Tan. Here is my story...

This incident just happend about 2 hours ago. I had just got home from my girlfriends house and parked my beautiful car outside on the street. Im in my room ripping some CD's to MP3 when i hear a car drive by outside followed my a crunch sound. Immediately i grab my keys and cell phone and run outside and confirm my suspisions that someone had egged my car!!! Anyway, i saw them cruising slowly down the street egging other cars (this is at night by the way, about 10:30pm). If you guys know how bad an egg can fuck up a paint job, then imagine how angry i was. I got in my car and turn around to follow them, since they were still on my street. So i come up on them really fast and after a moment they realize who is in the car behind them and how fucking dead they are (pardon my language). They were driving a early 90's model blue Chevy Van, and yes i got the license plate! So they then proceed to book it through my neigborhood... yea right, like they can outrun me . So i follow them out onto the main street and am chasing very quickly. I dial 911 on my cell phone (thank God i have an automatic!), and tell the dispatcher the make, model, and license plate of the van and our location. She tells me to pull over and stop chasing so i dont crash . OK! Officer Tom was waiting for me in front of my house when i got back home. He tells me that there is nothing he can do about it, and that there is no damage so i should just let it go. He seemed cool, but i was still en fuego about the whole incident. To make a long story short, i took my car through a car wash at 11:30pm and looked at the hood (where the egg landed) in some light. OMG! The egg totally chipped the paint upon impact! Im pissed . I call the police department back and have Officer Tom meet me back at my house. Turns out that he cruised the next few blocks, and found at least half a dozen other cars that had been egged. I filed a report and am willing to prosecute. In the mean time, they ran a check on the license plate and found out that the car belonged to someone in a town about 20 min away. At this very time the police are waiting thier return.

So thats my story. Today marks 1 week of me owning my car. I thought the first problem i would have would be the transmission but i guess i was wrong. Once the sun rises tomorrow, whoever has egg on thier car is in for an expensive surprise. Anyway, i love my car!!! Ill take some pics tomorrow of the car and the damage.

Last holloween I got an egg in my passenger side quater panel. I have a black cl-s so believe me I know your pain. That really sucks man at least you were able to get the info. This is my third car that has gotten egged so I know what an egg can do.

i would;ve chased them down, some shit like that ahppened to me before, some little btiches shot BB gun pellets at my car i stopped me and my cousin hopped out chased them down a block and those kids were so fucking scared they started crying they were about 14-15 i aws like WTF are you doing and he was like i;m sorry i;m sorry i;m sorry, my cousin slapped around one of the other kids, i bet those mutherfuckers are never gonna throw anything at peoples car anymore. its basic psycology. if they do it dont get caught thye get a rush out of it. if they do it and get caught get scared to death they think about it twice next time.

similar stuff happened to my buddy...about a month after he got his new Maxima, some bitches spray painted some gang shit on his car....he's a cop. He followed them home, waited for them to go to sleep, and took his 4-D cell maglight to the cars windows and panels....destroyed that sh%^. He then called a friend (another cop, this one on duty) and had the car ticketed for being a nuisnace because it was trashy on the street. Good stuff.

 

Sorry to hear what happened. My FIRST drive by rubbing happened news years eve 2001. I was parked in a dirt lot for a party way out in Yuba, Ca. That morning I noticed some mud on my left front bumper. I took it off and found that somebody tried to cover up their fuck up. Happy 2001 to me. I just wish I was around to see it.

UPDATE!!!

Well, i guess the kids driving the van last night were scared that i got thier plate numbers, which i did, and called the cops, which i did. So the officer that took my call last night comes back at dinner time tonight and lets me know that the kids called in and surrendered themselves (they were scared shitless). They will have to pay for all the damage they have done to all the cars in the neighborhood. Case Closed. I WIN!!!!

Now i just have to take my car in for an estimate and see how much its gonna cost them. Ill have to take a picture to let you guys see the damage. I had no idea an egg could chip paint like it did. Anyway, im just glad that my first post on this board came to a good end.

 

Yep my Bonneville got egged on the drivers door and it chipped the fuck out of it. Never got the little fags who did it, but I lived down the block from low income housing, so I'm sure it was some piece of shit who lived in there. It sucks when you wash/wax your car for 4 hours then some dickhead ruins it in 3 seconds.

Those kids surrendering themselves was the correct action on their part and helps me to restore a little bit of faith in man to do the right thing.
