Just bought an '01 Type S!

Traded in my old 97 Accord SE. This car is sweeet. Couple questions though if someone could help me out.

1. How would I go about putting '03 tail lights in. How much and where can you get them?

2. Does a cold air intake void your warranty? And which one is the most comon?

Thanks.

you can buy the tail lights from your dealer for around 400 bucks, you also need a different socket for one of the bulbs on each tail light. they will know what you need. if you do a search here, you will find the part numbers. for an intake, you have 3 choices.

AEM
INJEN
Comptech IceBox

no, they wont and CANT void your warranty. unless you suck water into your engine by driving through a deep puddle causing your motor to hydro-lock. that would be bad news. but its very rare.

Sorry about that. It is in the wrong forum. I'm an idiot. Thanks for the help though! Does the $400 price of the tails include installation?

The price does not include install. Welcome and don't worry about the intake voiding anything !

there is essentially no difference between AEM and Injen.

Both are the same diameter tubing so air volume is going to be the same. It basically comes down to aesthetics.

Also, if you are worried about hydrolocking, get the Comptech Icebox. Or an AEM bypass thingy...

The tail light install takes 15 minutes.. just need a philps screw driver.. no need to get someone to install it for you.

Welcome Hope you enjoy driving it. The tranny is the weakest link, so try not to abuse it. Otherwise, you have a good car

Hey, if you want some hydraulics in that car let me know. I'll hook you up with a nice 4 pump setup.
