Picked up a 2003 CL Type S today .... 16,000 km, Agean Blue. Really enjoy driving this car. It was originally registered in July 2002.
Can anyone tell me why it is a 2003 model?

Cars always come out early and hence, the 03s was sold in 02s...
must have been one of the first of the 03s sold.
First thing to od is decide whether you want a Basslink or which subwoofer/amp combo.
Welcome!!

CLS 6MT Navi
Welcome,
I always want to know, 6 speed or automatic?
Navi or no? Any mods?
If you check your vin# the last digits tell you what number your car is of the 16,000 03 CLs produced. I assume that includes the Canadian models.
I believe the 03 CL started selling in the spring of 02, looks like you got an earlier one.

It's a bone stock automatic, no-nav. Last six digits of the VIN are 800067. I believe the 8 just denotes Canadian car .... so it seems it is an early one.
