My Navi lately has been having issues.

Get DVD Disc Read Errors.

Disc is Unformatted.

Took the disc out, its clean, but cleaned it anyways, still having issue on random.

Took it to the Acura Dealer in Ocean and they said they can't do anything unless its happening at that moment, the issue occurs after some time of driving on the road.

You have any ideas, do most dealers only fix an issue if it occurs when they exactly see it

 

I called up Acura of Memphis and told them my rear view mirror was failing. They ordered one for me w/o seeing it.

 

they ship it to you?

 

That sounds like the Brain in the trunk is dying a slow death .Let the dealer have a look at it .

It happened to me the other day but hasn't happened since.. How many times has this happened to you ? I was thinking that maybe the cold then hot weather might be causing a few issues.

 

In extreme temps the DVD reader can screw up but moslty this is an indication that the box in the trunk is junk .Most dealers have gone through this and know that it means it is time to just replace it .Altjhough there is self diag stuff for the Navi it rarely reveals flaws that are in the Logic or reader .

Happens like very other day.

THe Dealer Won't Replace it unless it happens and they can see it at that moment.

I think I may head up to Park Avenue one Day. Would that be okay Jens ?
