Jens:

i know i've asked this before. But on the 98-99 accord v6 motors it is possible to adjust the timing. My motor is essentially the same i believe, since it is in a 99 model year. Now i believe you said i can't adjust it. How come i can't change my timing. I know it's my distributer. But whats the difference between theres and mine?

CL,the distributor serves only the purpose of directing the spark down the right ignition wire the actual timing event is controlled by various sensors on the engine and the PGM-FI control unit.If you want to do something with timing it will involve reprogramming the ECU.Try contacting JET ECU they usually advertise in Sport Compact car etc. They may have a reprogrammed ECU for your car.I'll look around and see if I can find the website for them.Jens
