JDM Engine and Transmission

OK new to this forum stuff and had a couple of questions i have two acura cls the one i need repaired immediately is my 02 cl type s the bottom bolt where the alternator fastens sheared apart and i keep breaking alternator brackets and i live in alaska and no one seems to be able to aluminum weld it back up for me and i also have a minor tranny issue it feels like it kind cant keep a steady pace and sometimes slips during acceleration. well i found a decent priced jdm engine and tranny that are still together and come with alternator and all the other stuff but my question is do they just drop into place and work or do i need a new ecu and wiring harness like i did for my dsm cars? any info or link eplaining all this would be greatly appreciated thanks also any place to get super good prices on parts would be appreciated also seems all the american stuff i have come across is much more expensive

Everything is the same. There are just two small outlets on the waterneck that you will have to plug/cap. They are used as tranny coolers in Japan but ours are setup different. I'm currently running a jdm motor.

You'll have to see how the lines are run and if the cooler is included. It could be that it was on the car itself and not included in your swap
