for once i'm early, and i made up for it with a bunch of them, i used 3 forum members cars - thanks for the pics

dial ups beware, no compression on the images only the thumbs, some are almost a meg in file size, i went for clarity this time, not download speeds

Thanks everyone for replying, once i get the basic backgrounds finished, its only a matter of turning on and off layers in photoshop, and using blending mode changes, i started on them saturday, then finished them last night, i also make them for the apriliaforum so to do all of them takes a while

This guy really has some skills. I too work with photoshop alot and this work is pretty clean and nice overall. good work and keep them coming. you have very extraordinary amounts of creativity.
since you are so knowldgable in this matter, i must take advantage LOL!
here are a few questions for ya:
i never really extensively used any photoshop version except for 7. Is 7 much better than six or any previous versions?
How many images or layers do you insert for the background (average)?

7 really only has more painting brushes, i've used photoshop since version 4.0 and never did much painting, so 7 and 6 is almost the same for me

i use about 20-40 layers depending on the final image

remember if something does not look right when you make abstact background images, distort it, transform it, blend it until it looks good to you
