jacking up your lowered CL

How do you all jack up, say one side of your car like to do an oil change for example, when you're lowered on springs? I remember jacking my car up last time to remove the resonator and had a heap of trouble getting the tire back on after the spring decompressed.

i run my car up on some pieces of wood and slip the jack under from there! works everytime... the hard part is.. finding the wood!

there are also these little ramps that u can buy for lowered cars to help u out with situations like those... im thinking about pickin a couple up

^you have a link to that by any chance? I have a set of the ramps, but they're for normal heights and it won't fit under the CL

Rear, I don't have a problem, but front I do. What I do is use 2 jacks. I jack up the rear a little until I can fit a jack under the front, then jack the front & put jackstands under.
Also if you have a real jack, you can jack up the entire front, rear, or sides of the car under the tow points.

"a real jack" as in a sturdy 4-ton jack with wide base?

for fifty-sixty bucks you can get an low profile floor jack. Anyone that likes to do their own work should have one. some even come with jack stands. If it dosent i would still get some. better off spending an extra few bucks so you dont have a car sitting on your head. I think i saw it at auto zone.

If you drive the car onto a couple of 2 x 8's it's easy st get a jack under even the lowest car. Only cost a few bucks at Home Depot....you can even paint them to match the car if you have too much time on your hands.
