Iridium Plugs

I know that this topic has been discussed several times before but there is something that I came across on some other boards that I dont think has been addressed here.

I am looking into getting a set of either Denso or NGK iridium plugs for my car. I probably dont need them and wont gain anything in terms of performance but I am bored and just need something to do.

I found that a few people mentioned that the tips of the iridium plugs had snapped off and that this was a common issue. I also talked to a few friends (who are mechanics) and they mentioned the same thing. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem before? Is this something to worry about?!?

I have the Densos and have never had that problem. They've been on my car for 30-40K and not a problem.

And for the wiseguy that asks how do I know....I recently had to swap them out diagnosing a misfire issue.

yeah...I plugs that come with the CL-S are usually good for 100K...

If you need to spend some money...Get some Comptech Sway Bars...I noticed a good difference even after my drop w/ H&R Sports...the rear end comes around much quicker in turns!

Or a Comptech Strut Bar...
