I just got the plugs. I have a 2.2 though. I guess it makes a tiny bit of difference. But that might be since I haven't changed my sparks in 11 months. Not bad though.

not that this applies to your applications, but on a solara with s/c, we dyno approx 10 more hp to the wheels. that's with ik22 plugs which are a temp range colder (better) for forced induction engines. the recommendation on n/a car is ik20 plugs, i think for the cl as well. the difference is compared with a stock platnium 2 prong toyota plug set. the cars were nearly identical in setup.

i notice smoother idling. it used to be that when i started her in the morning she would hover around 1.2K to warm up. Now it's 1K. There was also a slight increase in power. Not as much as when I installed the AEM CAI, but butt dyno says about 1/2 as much. gas mileage did impove, but hard to quantify since i go wot alot and not consistently.

While Iridium is somewhat rare on earth it is found on many meteorites. I think thats reason enough. Think how fast those suckers travel. Good top speed.
