Internal operating temperature of CL-S HID lights?

Does anyone know what temperature the interior of the headlight housing reaches? My temp gun is only picking up the external housing temperature. If anyone could tell me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The internal vs external of the housing itself is going to be pretty similar. A slight difference but not much. Or are you looking for the temp of the bulbs?

The temperature of the clear housing is a bit low compared to the temperature closer to the bulb. I'm trying to find what temperature the chrome housing area is subjected to.
