Interested in painting engine, need color advice

here's the scoup...red rocket with red CAI...would like to keep color scheme of red, black, and silver throughout the car intact...so i was wracking my brain of color combo's that wouldn't mess it up...Mercury had a great idea of painting the intake manifold cover red (just the silver looking part) and the rest of the engine cover silver, leaving the rectangle area with A symbol and red highlights alone...what do u guys think??? here's Crazy Acura's recent blue engine below...can anyone use the pic and simulate what it could look like with the silver and red combo??? i don't have PhotoShop or any graphics design software, unfortunately...thanks for the help!!

i agree with mercury. Color the engine cover red and keep everything else the same. However, just make sure to get the right red color.

does anyone in the Long Island area/anywhere close know of any paint shop that can do custom jobs??? i was actually thinking of something like the Porsche's interior black/red carbon trim, or maybe a combo of both...how bout places that make custom carbon accessories that match OEM's??

I like it stock also. But if you must choose a color, do red.

To each his own I guess.

I wish I could post my pics Anyways, I love the look of my engine now. I honestly don't think anyone who has seen it could tell me that it looked better stock. I painted the large cover (after very smoothly sanded) with a gloss black and three coats of it. It looks MUCH MUCH better that the "can't decided if i'm black or gray" color of the stock plastic. Then for the piece around the ignition I popped out that ("A" vtec) and painted it a matching bright red. My cold air is blue and so are my pullies and oil cap all AEM and finally the battery cover is red. Sounds like too much, but looks solid. IMO. GO for it!
