Yea, Steve goes absolutely NUTZ with the bubble wrap and PEANUTS! When I received my things from him I was seriously lost in all the stuff. The bubble wrap is fun afterwards though.

Wow that's some serious hardware! Is there another radiator for the IC or just that big tank? Looks like a nice rig. A couple of days ago it was like 5 degrees and dry out here. I was thinking it would be nice to get the S/C and experience that kind of power all the time.

In other words, I see no reason why a CL-S6 SC/IC couldn't easily make 400+ WHP. Now using it is a different story.

Yes, but it was cost prohibitive. Heck, there is about $75 worth of hose in it already.

I might need to check my FPR and/or fuel pump soon. In 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear i'm maxing out at 86psi and dropping back off to around 78psi at redline. In 4th and 5th gear at WOT I still see 95+ psi. No pinging is heard, and I was running pig rich on my dyno, but back then I was seeing 95+ psi at WOT in all gears and backing off to 85psi by redline. I gotta get that wideband hooked up next week.

Can you check and see if both are 500's?? Let me know and I will run to Wal-Mart and pick up the correct ones. I had grabbed them quick early one morning (about 5:30 AM) and didn't really look.

AEM. $405 shipped. Included the O2 sensor, gauge, etc.
The center section of the gauge shows the true AFR. And there are 24 multi-color LEDS that go around the outer edge.

The only problem we may have with it is that the wiring harness to connect the gauge wiring to the sensor is about 1" x 1". It might be difficult to fit that through the firewall without cutting the wire and then re-connecting it after the wires have been routed.

That's the plan, unfortunately. I'm trying to find time next week to have the bung welded. After that I'll hook it up.

I'm green with envy as well... I thought MrSteve had an auto?? If I knew someone up here in Seattle that could install this stuff I'd seriously consider the IC. As soon as we start seeing MrSteve's 12 second runs I know I'm gonna catch the fever.

What kind of tank is that (Make) you provide in your kit and what is the capacity?
In regards to the pump, where does it attach? on the tank or between the tank and IC?
Several weeks ago you mentioned you were, with your father in law, looking for an early model Chevrolet. Have you found one. Sorry for the off topic question, just wondering.
That kit looks great guys, if I were'nt going off in a different direction, I'd have a blast with those performance mods.
One more thing, why use the AF meter instead of EGT guage. I've been under the impression that EGT can tell you more that the AF meter. Just wondering.
Also, since the emanage system is piggybacked off the ecu for timing and other control, has anyone looked into a system that detects knock on individual cylnders and has the capibility of retarding individual cylnders rather than retarding all six of them when the knock detecter detects a knock? Knock Knock?
Great mods to you guys, more on mine in future weeks.

There was a thread a few months ago regarding EGT vs. AF.
Basically we said EGT would work, but no one knew what the proper temp should be for normal operation, where to mount to pyrometer for proper readings, etc. Also, the EGT values will change as ambient temperature changes.
There is no reason an EGT wouldn't work, it would just take a little more playing around with to make it work for you becuase it would require a little experimentation.
