Please read up on what an intercooler is and what it does prior to thinking about buying one. An intercooler without forced induction (FI) will not do anything for you, which means you either need a supercharger or a turbo set up in order to use one.

Whatever thread you read, you either misread it, the guy actually had FI, or there was incorrect information being dispersed.

As for performance modifications, I'd recommend the simple bolt-ons such as the XS headers (which was a good buy on your part), cold air intake, and then if you want for minor additions, pulleys/exhaust. Those will be plenty for a start, consider the major modifcations, such as forced induction later on.

Especially for someone who is not very knowledgable about aftermarket modifications as proven (no offense meant), it can get fairly complicated to take care of and that's how cars have serious problems, so start slowly.

UR Crank pulley! and I see you already are in the market for a CT icebox.

Exhaust doesn't get much horsepower in these cars because the factory exhaust is very unrestrictive.

Someone was talking about a water/air intercooler for a N/A setup. I think maybe GM#2 or someone. I remember that back a while ago.

So Air intake(which one is the best), xs headers, UR pulleys, exhaust, and what else is there to bolton that will give you easy power without FI? Maybe Cams? Vtec controller? Computer Chip?...

Comptech is the best intake IMO and i've heard that a vtec controller doesnt give you that much power and that it is pretty much worthless unless you have mods, meaning dont put it on if you are stock.... oh yea maybe an intercooler
