My dyno with a good A/F ratio and no knock came in at 315 WHP. It is the red line in the original plot in this thread. Keep in mind, this was also through the stock cat back exhaust.

The clutch is holding up fine. The tires are currently taking the abuse. I suspect that if I run slicks at the track the clutch will begin to seriously degrade, among other things.

Since the factory intake manifold is replaced, what is the power delivery like? From the dyno it seems to be very linear.

Bingo, it is very linear. There is not sudden change in power anywhere. It starts pulling down low and slightly starts gaining in power. And at no point does it feel like power drops off.

I won't be producing an SC kit. But the production of the IC has begun. Well sort of. I don't expect to be selling many of the IC kits so they are a build to order item. But one is under going production.

excuse me if I ask dumb questions, but would I need the SC in order to install the IC? In the pics on your site, you have an SC'd CL-s coupled with the IC on top.

Yes the intercooler is only for a S/C application. It cools the charged air to allow for higher boost. Cooler air, more dense, more HP. I don't know how long our engine would last at 8psi of non-intercooled boost.

I may last a while but you wouldn't be making the power you could. The knock would probably be killing the power making it pointless to run that high.

Nope, the FMIC would be air/air and is not a good idea on a roots blower. Unlike a turbo where if can flow extra air until the desired boost is reached. A roots style blower flows a fixed amount.

All the additional piping in a FMIC system with a roots style blower would decrease response significantly. To the effect of about a second when you hit the gas. Versus right now the boost hits instantaneously.

But if it is the look you want then one of my current projects may fit the bill. I am creating a new heat exchanger system for the liquid/air IC system which will resemble a FMIC somewhat. That wasn't the purpose, I am trying to get greater efficiency out of the system, but it will be a result.

^ My Acura service advisor has an '04 s2k with the CT blower and aftercooler plus and additional heat exchanger mounted in front of the radiator. He said it really made a difference. Looks and is fast as hell.

I'm running straight water right now. But for winter I will switch to the 30/70 coolant/water mixture hust in case my car sits out over night and it gets cold. This is rare but I have to prepare for the worst.
