Nope, never touched the E-Manage while I was there (or recently for that matter). I suppose I could have dropped the clamp point and added pulse width to get more timing.

2.92 VDC is the recomended value.

I noticed that since the grounds are different I had to set the E-Manage BC lower to get the same reading in the ECU. Right now I have it a bit lower than I previously had it; it is at 2.7 VDC.

I wonder how this affects long-term reliability of the engine?

It is certainly lower the life, how much I cannot say. Only time will tell for sure but I plan on getting an oil analysis at the next change interval.

We'll see but it has pretty much been in this current state for a couple of months now. There is no knock present and the A/F is at a safe level. So all precautions have been taken. Now it is just left to the strength of the components.

Steve you probably stand to gain alot from light wheels alone ..

When I ran next to Randy at honda day, with both of us having similiar mods, his 19s consistently made him almost exactly 3 tenths slower than me .. stock 03 wheels are 24lbs, my 18s are 20lbs .. stock wheel and tire= 48.5lbs (I weighed them) and my setup is 42.5 .. 6lbs a corner makes a big difference!

btw veryyyyyyyy impressive numbers steve .. definetly shoot for that 400whp mark
and bring it on with those hope systems mods I want some in my sig...

ha, wait till my next wheel comes out, i already found a one piece forged manufacturer, it's gonna be a polished lip with black and silver center, 19" x 8" 48mm offset, nice and light.
Maybe you will need some heavy wheels to control the damn power.

Hrmmm, I think that would look good on an ABP CL-S. Just 19's or are there going to be 18's and what weight range??

The lighter the better.

Got Inconel?

Impressive results young Jedi HP master

OK buddy, I've talked to the "dark side" and you have 30-days left on your Faustian contract. Fine print says, "Your soul is forfeit at 400 WHP."

BTW, as mentioned earlier, are you going to bring along some ice cubes (ice chest) one day?

Considering some R-rubber too?

Wow that is truly impressive.

Can’t wait to see the track #’s. Considering your still running the stock exhaust I’d say you have a pretty damn nice sleeper. Keep up the good work.

Yep, I am working on a way to super cool it easier. Right now it takes forever to remove water and drop ice in through the cap on the reservior.

I would love to try some real sticky tires but the fear of broken driverline components is keep that at bay. But I am sure I will break down at some point and suck it up. Parts can always be replaced.

Steve,

Way to Mod ! In 90 Degree weather. Biggest factor also being Humidity and GA has plenty. Sorry if this was there but, what the the HP gain between with exhaust and with open dump diffrence ? Also was the dump after the CAT or before ? Great Build.

We all still need to hook up and make it to the track. It would be nice if there were a track in the Greenville area as that is about half way.

I need all the help I can get. I can't get a good launch right now to save my life. So I need a good driver to pilot this thing; got any business trips to Atlanta any time soon.

It depends on the launch and the conditions. Right now I would expect low 13's at 108 - 110 MPH if I can get a decent launch. But if set up well and decent weather 12's would certainly be a possibility at near 112 MPH.

If I botch the launch I could very well run 14's but at over 105 MPH.

If I've followed your progress correctly, you are still using the stock injectors, right? Were you able to drop your fuel pressure at all?

oh yeh,... the dyno,....

There was about a 14 WHP gain with the cut-out open over the stock exhaust. It is just before the catalytic converter in the Comptech A-Pipe. More information can be found in the below thread:

You haven't been following all of the threads to well, JK.

Yes, I dropped the fuel pressure. I am running the smaller FPR calibration disc and lowered the static pressure to 55 PSI. This gives me about 90 PSI at 6 PSI boost. I extended the pulse width of the stock injectors with the E-Manage and tuned it to give a pretty flat A/FD curve in the 11.5 - 12.0 range.
