is there any way of hearing how an AEM intake will sound like w/ stock exhaust? website, etc.. How much hp does it add on to the car?

 

try youtube they have a lot of sound clips. i have an aem intake with stock exhaust it sounds really good. not that stupid tin can sound. its a nice deep throaty tone. im sure others would agree.

 

I had my AEM CAI with stock exhaust and w/ headers back CT exhaust. The intake sounds great with both. That is one thing I miss about that intake. I currently have the CT icebox and it barely sounds different than stock (looks stock as well), but the performance is slightly better than AEM.

 

I had the same set up at 03sivertypeS and I loved the way my CL sounded. You won't be disappointed. It's a nice deep growl.

This is probably the 50th time I've posted this vid of my CL but I don't care. This is with AEM CAI, XS Headers and stock exhaust. I kinda do miss her now...

i "JUST" installed mine 2 days ago into my CL-P. It was such a pain trying to undo the 2nd resonator box bolt. It was some stupid long ass screw that just seemed to turn infinity times. Anyways I only have intakes in right now. Here is a picture of it. Yes i Know I know i need to clean my engine bay.

I will take a video of it later tonight so you can hear it with just intakes.

 

just pull the stock intake hose off of the throttle body and do a wot run. it will sound very similar to that.
