only for looks, like the cleaner look with no tabs. still got to add a few more goodies to it and it will be ready to get installed.

the part cost me $40. cheap, the exteded bolts from acura was like $16, but 7 of the 9 are on back order still. u will need to trim some of the hood brace. wont affect anything. or u can get it milled to a smaller size and not trim anything.
StreetKA, it's hard to even understand what you're trying to write. Take your time when you post and make it understandable english please.
The spacer is used on the MDX, Odyssey i believe. It's supposed to increase torque for those larger vehicles, but it's tight in the CL. You can trim your hood and raise the back of the hood a bit to help clear, or like Rajca said, machine the spacer down a bit. It measures 40mm (1.57").

so part #s I'm guessing:
2001 MDX spacer, intake manifold part# 17108-PGK-A00
9 extra long bolts to get it on.... not sure of the part number on that.
just a quick run down of parts and #s would make everyone happy for now.

^open your hood and look up. You'll see the underside of the hood has metal braces that run down and across it to keep it ridgid. You can cut out a section of the center brace that would be right over the intake manifold. And you can add spacer washers where your hood bolts to the car to elevate it a bit.

Rajca, when you removed the tabs and all that on the spacer to clean it up, was that just for looks? You could just leave them right...not like you'll see the spacer anyways. Why are the tabs there anyways??

I did it for looks and :ninja. U will see the spacer and it will be easier to change the injectors. U wouldn't need to take off the whole intake manifold
