Intake Question

I know this horse has been beaten to death, but I found no search info on the comparison I am looking for. I am contemplating getting a CAI for my CLS. However my brother has an RSX typeS with a AEM short ram air on. Now dont get me wrong I think it sounds good in most circumstances on the RSX, but it is fairly loud and I dont know if this will be suitable for the CLS. Has anyone heard an intake on both of these cars? Was the CLS as loud as the RSX? Did you hear it in VTEC this is when his is loudest? I just dont want to have something that sounds too loud. Any help would be appreciated.

if u want an intake less loud, simply use the full length intake from AEM...u could always shorten the pipe later on...if yer gonna use the full length version, make sure to get yerself the bypass valve just in case...generally, intakes sound louder when they're short-ram...having the long pipe extended down below where the stock air filter sits helps to confine somewhat the loudness down low, but u'll still hear plenty of roar!!!

the roar won't come until 5K on the band and up to rev limiter...VTEC u can't really hear anything noticeable...revs low on the band sound no different

besides AEM, u have Injen and WeaponR as optional intakes

i'd go with AEM personally
