intake question.....

intake question.....

I'm thinking of getting an AEM CAI from carautoparts.com.... what shoulld I be looking for..... diameter is 2.75", is this the right diameter?

Here are the AEM part numbers.

The CL uses 21-416.

The CL Type S uses 21-419.

Thanx fellas...

Thanx fellas.... I thought the diameter was s'pose ta be 3".... almost ordered the one from ACP that was 2.75"....... I didn't see them w/ the 3" one...... I guess i'll have to look into the local shops 'round here......

They have it for $213.xx. Just make sure you specify you have a Type S or a Premium CL. And make sure the part number is right. Search the web. I have seen them cheaper than that. You should be able to get if for about $200 shipped, or very close.

Check out NOPI.com I got my Injen CAI from them. They were dramatically cheaper than ACP.com...Not to put down ACP as most , if not all, their products are very competitive.
