Intake Air Temperature Sensor

Can anyone tell me wherer I can find the IAT sensor on a 98' 2.3 V-TEC. I'm thinking of installing a 4.7 ohm resistor in order to trick the computer into the thinking the engine is sucking in cool air. Has anyone heard of this? Does it work? Is it safe?

Ain't gonna do squat.

look at the physics of it. You make the car think the air is colder/denser so it'll add more fuel.... well, the air IS NOT denser so now you just run rich. Waste of $ and time.
