The 01 CL I just bought had no information or instructions for the navigator.
Is there someplace on line I could download a manual?

A manual? I don't think I got a manual with my navi.. isn't it pretty much self explanatory? I got the hang of mine within a few hours of playing with it...

 

There's a pretty thick manual on the Navigation. ebay for one.

I can't figure out how to get rid of previous owner's destinations ... every time I try to input an address, the old owner's destinations crop up and I can't get back to the blank form.
will check out these suggestions.

 

I don't have navi, but maybe someone who does have navi can answer your "clear destination" question...

If not, post a "how do you clear prior destinations" thread in the A/V section (there are navi experts there... but it's a lower traffic forums, so you won't get a reponse as quickly as here).

It doesn't describe how to delete int he Navi Manual so save your money.

Try these steps:
1) Press the "Menu" button
2) Select "Previous Destinations". You should see the list of previous destinations including the ones that you want to delete.
3) At the bottom of the screen next to the clock, you should see a "Setup" button
4) Press the "Setup" button and it will take you to the next screen.
5) On the next screen, select "Previous"
6) You can delete the whole list of Previous Destinations or Individual ones from this screen.

Give this a shot and see if it works for you.
