Installing Navigation
I'm a newbie here, so I apologize if this has been discussed before. I'm considering buying a used 2003 CL Type S that is the exact car that I've been looking for, except that it doesn't have the Navigation System. Is it possible to have this installed at a dealer, or is it only a manufacturer's option? Or, could I do it myself? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

I believe it will cost you a fortune to install a factory nav on a non-nav car. You need a new dashboard and all wiring for a/c. The only way you can go is to install an aftermarket like Alpine/Pioneer. There are some members installed on their CLs.

Navigation installation
I too have purchased an 02 CLS non-nav. I'm working on getting all the details together concerning installation of the OEM NAV. I'll let ya know when I find out!

In all honesty I think you are better off with an aftermarket Nav system such as Pioneer or Alpine .These systems have a huge upfront cost but if you attempt to install a factory nav you will end up at the same cost and if you build it as designed you still cannot watch DVD's .Get an Alpine or Pioneer hook up that one wire the right way and you styling with video for the passengers and nav for you .
