Installed the AEM CAI

I did it myself, and it was very easy. It look tough at first with all the hoses and stuff. But once you start it's very easy.

I love it. This is such a good mod. Even when I don't go into high RPMs and can't hear it, I still feel the car work better. It's like it can breath easier. And the sounds it makes after 4-5 RPMs is so nice. I can defenetelly see how it can be addicting to make you drive it high RPMs.

Here is the pic:

It looked weird to me too. What exactly are you talking about? Did I fuck up? Can you be more specific.

There should be a coupling where the intake meets the engine/throttle body.

Are you talking about a rubber thing that comes with the AEM kit? If yes, I used to connect the intake strait to the engine.

So you are talking about the black coupler thing. I didn't have that in a kit. I didn't have any extra parts what so ever. That's why I was sure that I did it right. What do you think is the significance of this part. It seems that my CAI is woking fine.

Are your cars 6speed or auto, because there is a difference, and it could be this part.

It holds the intake to the throttle body. Have you tried moving your intake around? Does it disconnect from the throttle body easily? What's holding the intake to your throttle body?

I connected it to the silver openning on the engine. It's just that the black cover is covering it up. i think that it's the difference between the 6-speed and automatic.
