i got my hood repainted this week; and bought the Hood and Mirror XPel kit for $108 shipped.

I live in cleveland, and since the nearest installer is in PA (3 hours away) ... I'm gonna try to install this myself.

any tips?

 

I have the best tip you will ever hear. Drive the 3 hours to PA and let a pro do it!!!!!! Why experiment??? Do you ever see the window tint that people do themselves???? The one with all the BUBBLES in the back and side windows!!!!! You know what I am talking about. Well, think of the tint as being the same as the Expel. Just my 2 cents.

 

I agree with Aztec, drive the 3 hours and pay for the professional to do it. It's the same thing as StonGard, you could buy the kit for 400, but why skimp an extra 100 to screw it up yourself...

 

What does the kit look like????
