Input Plz

Well I finally took my car out out the garage for like the 5th time in the last 3 months since it was a clear day, no snow, or anything... JUST COLD -22 F with the wind chill... anyways went to friends starting the car for the drive home.. Car starts stalls out.... Start it again, and stalls out again... I was like WTF.... Start it again, give it a little gas... Check Engline Light comes on with the VSA.... Turned the ignition off... Turned back on, VSA was back but came back on, check engine light hasn't gone away...

I hope its not the tranny... Since I have just another 2000 miles on this rebuilt one... Drove it home slowly, everything sounds and feels great... Any ideas, or input would be appreciated.... Thanks again for your help everyone....

Try putting some dry gas in your tank to get rid of any possible moisture.

Also gas shouldn't really sit that long. Try to burn it out and put some fresh gas in there.

I have the same problem every year too.

Shouldn't be the gas since I have routinely burned it whenever I have taken her out... Just filled her up last week...

I agree, too much moisture. Ice is probably blocking gas flow through the filters and lines.

It doesn't sound like a problem with the tranny at all.

Any way you can read those codes? Autozone down here lets you do it for free. If you don't have any up there a local shop should have an OBD-II reader that I’m sure you could use.

Either way take it to the dealer, like you said you were going to do, but it would be nice to know the codes beforehand.

Keep us updated.
