INJEN vs. AEM CAI

INJEN vs. AEM CAI

which one is better??? i feel the urge to get some more oooomph out of my new CL-S and i want to start with the CAI....however i have no idea which one to get...injen?? AEM??? any major difference....by the way, how the heck does that bypass valve go on? do you have to cut the pipe to put it on?????

1- they are both the same. Some people say the injen has better design but a CAI is CAI is CAI. Unless the design is horrible there won't be a huge increase in HP. AEM and injen designs are similar. You could go with either one and be very happy.

2- Yes you have to cut the pipe.

Well, those two seem to be the best. Take a read. If you are still really stuck... send me a PM or an email. I live off of Westbrook Drive in Cortlandt Manor, so no matter where in Peekskill you are, I can't be more then 5-7 min. away. I don't have my car this week, but I should be getting it back next weekend. All of my mods are listed in my signature, I'm not sure if you're interested in the other stuff, but at least you can see first hand what the intake looks and sounds like.....

is it true that adding the bypass valve to the CAI causes a loss of power???
