Injen vs Aem

What would be the better intake for a type s? Sounds and hp factors.

Injen vs AEM

What would be the better intake for a 01 type s? Sound and horsepower are big factors.

If it only came in 6spd i would of had that too....but i just purchased an aem and i will let you know once i get it and put it on...

intake

The injen is only made for the 6 speed? Yeah let me know how the V2 works out for ya.

The Injen is for the AT I believe, at least thats what mine was.

Also, there is no V2 for the Type-S. Only the CL-p.

AEM just makes the engine sound mean. Even with the exhaust setup, I hear the CAI over the exhaust.

yea it sounds really good, it doesnt really matter if you get injen or aem they're pretty much the same thing

Yeah, you'll geak over the sound when you rev it up. When I had the front right all exposed in the middle of the installation, the intake sounded super mean. Too bad there's a whole bunch of "good" junk in the way to keep the decibels down.
