Info on a intake please.

I know what an CAI is but what the heck is a by-pass valve? does it add more power, or is it just for looks?is it worth it?Also
what is so good about that new Ice BOx that Comptech is making. Is it woth the wait???

bypass valve is designed to prevent your intake from injesting water it actually makes the intake lose some power

if you get a lot of rain in your area, yes. People say you lose power but I haven't seen any dyno proof of that. If you do it's probably less then 1hp.
