increasing tension in the trunk springs?

Has anyone adjusted the trunk-springs to compensate for the extra weight that comes with adding a spoiler? any help?

The dealer can do it. If you got a spoiler from the dealer, they should have adjusted it. I have a spoiler and it was fine for the first 6 months. Now the springs need to be adjusted because when I pop the trunk it doesn't go as high as it used to.

Actually if you buy a factory spoiler it will come with replacement springs to help lift the trunk lid.If you installed an aftermarket wing you can buy the higher tension springs from the dealer.Have fun istalling them though they can be quite a chore if you have never done this before.Jens
