Imrc

Ok I searched under the "problem and fixes" section and only found 5 or 6 posts that did not help me.

I noticed powerloss below 4k rpm nad checked the IRMC and it's no longer working. It was fine last month cause I checked it. So it feels a little tight when I move it by hand. I'm going to go check for voltage here in a sec at the plug. Is there anything I should know before buying a new one?

Does anyone have the part # for a 01 CLS IMRC valve? I looked on OEMAcuraparts but there was like nine valves and no indication as to wich one I needed.

Thanks

Hey, thanks man.

I did not seem to get any voltage from the plug.??????? Not 100% sure I was able to make contact with the leads though.

Is there a fuse? Just a shot in the dark!

Inside the actuator, that's the part back by the firewall....there is a gear I believe that gets stripped. Some guys have taken it apart and found that to be the problem. Try that.
