Hey guys,

Went to the last import drag for the season this last Saturday. I took a bunch of video clips, a couple with Mattg in it.

All I can say is this, Matts car was freaking fast! (faster than majority of CLs, especially mine... :o) On his first run, he pulled a 14.2 (didn't get it on video, because I wasn't expecting him to go that fast on the first run).

I wish I could have gotten a "Wednesday" car like Matt's...

I've looking for people who can host a couple of videos, I will email them to you or upload to your server tonight when I get home.

my best run was 14.20 @ 99.1x 2.19 60'

it was the first run, my quickest first run ever.

63 degrees, 40% humidity, 184 feet elev.

how many runs did u have after that, the car should get quicker

u cant ask for better conditions, only 40% humid, and thats right at sea level

Read my first post.. I didn't get it on tape because I was not expecting him to run that fast on the first run. But I'm sure mattg will be happy to post the slip if you need him to.

 

did you get the 2nd run? that was in the 14.20's as well.

He never got back to me.... My friend Chirs was going to burn it on to a DVD so I can send the whole thing to him. Because he dosen't think he has the right software to properly compress the videos and keep the good quality.

Not sure if I got the second run or not... you ran so many times... I think he got at least 3 runs of you.

matt i was just thinking that a 14.20 is UNREAL for a first run, of cousr i believe you but my car neds to be driven hard for a few runs before it opens up fully, my first runs are 14.6ish,

do u drive the car hard on the way to the track??

 

i try to floor it a few times on the way to the track.

i wasn't planning on running that quick on the first run. i was pleased when i saw the slip.

the other cool thing was my gas light wasn't on, i had over an 1/8 of a tank.


that was a "stage 1" turbo pt cruiser in the left lane. he treed me but i whooped up on him.

 

the next run was a 14.25 @ 98.37

with a 2.17 60'


all 8 runs were sub 14.50
