Im pissed...
Yesterday on I95 a big semi kicked up a stone that smacked right into my winshield which left a chip near the passengers side. I called around and most places said they can add resin into the chip but it still would be noticable. Aside from replacing the winshield is thier anything out there that would repair the chip? In know pep boys had something... BTW its an 1/8" and just grazed the surface.
Is the crack just a little chip, or is their some spidering.
If its just a roundish little chip, you would be surprised how good resin works....still noticeable, but not distracting and annoying.
If you can't even stand the idea of a little spot being there....sorry, you are going to need a new windshield.

buy crazy glue, wash and dry the area and just fill up the crack. i have done this on at least 4 of my cars. do it before it starts to spread. try to get it in, in 1 shot, you can wipe the excess away before it dries with a soft moist rag.
1. DO NOT REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD...if you hate wind noise, leave this option only for an emergency.
2. Go to a windshield repair/replacement shop. They usually do good work and it will only be noticeable if you are staring right at it.
3. Get it fixed before it starts to spread...IT WILL SPREAD, from the vibration of the car it will start to spider out.

I was just about to say the same thing. In FL, it's state law that insurance has to cover 100% of the windshield repair and not raise your rates. Just call your insurance co.
