I'm bummed.. I may have to sell the CL

So, I lost my job just over a year ago...and so I went back to school. I've made everything work this far, but I think the bills and everything are finally going to get the best of me. The only other thing I can think to do is to sell the CL. I really don't want to cause I love my CL.

So, anyone have any thoughts on what I can get for a Silver '03 CL-S 6-speed w/nav with about 23,300 miles around the Houston area?

I actually feel your pain. I have a '01 CL-S and I may have to sell it to pay off some bills. I didn't lose my job but I have my own shop, which is only a year old, and it's like having no job b/c I never see any money. This, accompanied by just getting married = NO MONEY. And unfortunately the CL may have to go.

But at least I still have my original baby: my turbo Honda.

sorry for your dilemma. As you probably know the 6 speed Navis are the rarest, there should be plenty of interest in it. and silver is pretty popular too. maybe you can just lease it out temporarily good luck to both posters.

18-22K would be my guess... I've got a SMR 6spd (non-navi) with 26K miles, that I don't think I could get more then 20-22 privately, and maybe about 18K on trade...

Look up the value on kbb.com . that should give you a ballpark range..

Well, I just looked it up on KBB. They say private party amount of 22.2K, part that sucks it that is about 400 shy of what I owe, but I could make it work. Do things like Iceboxes and Eibach stb's and sways make a difference in pricing. This is the first car I have ever modded...not sure what to expect on the resale side with the mods, or should I just remove them, and put the OEM stuff back in before selling?

You should be able to sell it for around $22k, I am curiously looking around for one, but i can't decide till january and i would definitely pay AT LEAST $22k for your car, maybe a little more because of the navi.

you can take off your mods and sell them separately....you might gain more money that way...

I bought my SSM '03 CL-S 6-speed w/nav two months ago with 17,915 miles. It was a Acura certified vehicle and I paid $24K. Car was extremely clean and the only mod was tinted glass all around. If I were you, I wouldn't settle for anything less that $22K.

Good luck and hope things work out for you.

I know you know this, but KBB.com would most likely help you put a price value on your CL. Best of luck to you.
