I'm about to kick every rocks ASS!!!!!
a fucking rock hit my windshield, given i was going about 95mph, and just tore me a new one. i have to replace it, has anyone else replaced theirs, acura wants $468 for the windshield and God knows how much for labor! this place call Formula One wants $400 for both parts and labor, any suggestions. it's that damn built in antenna!!! fuck!!!

i think the antenna is in the rear windshield actually. i have full coverage on all glass on my car, but on my old car, the place charged my insurance company $800 ... hmmmmm

yo so what exactly happenned to your windshield....
i had the same problem....
cruizing @ 85mph
a rock or something fell from a overpass and hit my windshield leaving a chip in it
i deceded to live with it since it looked like anyother bug roadkill i've been getting these days....
but $450.00 sounds steep

The comprehensive deductible on your insurance should cover it.
It doesn’t matter how much over that amount it costs.

Damn, this is a funny topic. My parent's old 90 accord got one of thos ein the window. We put supeglue on the small crack immediately and it's held ever since. My dad's current 99 camry got one (with me driving as well) and he didn't do anything about it and eventually replaced it. Heh, while I was in seattle this weekend, same thing happened to my cousin's civic I borrowed! I hope this dones't happen with the CL!

Acura wanted $550 from me. I called a place in yellow pages and they charged me about $220 using OEM glass. They came right to my house. They were unable to save stock molding so another $68 for new molding.

If the chip has already started to create a crack, it's too late...I would stick with it if it's only a chip. Go to an autoparts store and fill it in with that silicone stuff. It'll hold glass for a long time...
