If your tranny has DIED, did you call Acura Client Relations...

@ 1.800.422.2872 to start a case file? I called ASAP when I dropped my car off last Tuesday and finally spoke to my caseworker for the first time today. The current best case ET for delivery of the vehicle back into my hands is end of November. I apprised my advisor of my car's entire "lemon like" history (two acutators, rotors machined twice, brakes pads on my dime, electrical problems that took THREE visits to fix and now the infamous tranny) and that I would expect to placed into a comparable vehicle for the duration of my downtime as my car is a lease, and the Galant loaner is clearly not cutting it. In addition, I made it absolutely clear that I am 100% mod free, love my service department at David McDavid Acura (it's not their goddamned fault) and expressed how truly dissappointed I was that this entire transmission fiasco is tarnishing the once great legacy of the Acura marque.

Within two hours I had received calls from both my shop foreman as well as Enterprise rental informing me that they were working as quickly as possible to get me into an acceptable loaner. Since the Enterprise working with my dealer does not loan out any Acuras other than Integras, I should be pimping a Cadillac Deville in the next couple of days.

Man, sorry to hear about all the problems!
maybe you can get them to make your lease payment
for the month, too! I remember reading about someone else that got that!
