Black or a dark charcoal color? Some ass smacked into my car so it's time for a new paint job. You guys have any suggestions between black and a dark charcoal?? Any pros or cons about the colors? I know black eventual gets swirl marks in it

 

yeah a gunmetal, or bronze color would be nice and it is def. easier to take care of

 

Anthracite is pretty much gunmetal

 

Hey all, I was just at Charlotte car show this weekend, and saw the best color for a car. It's a little different, and that is what I like. Might not be for anyone, but if you want to stand out this will do. The flames are cool, but I would not add them, just the paint. Any thoughts????

I like that gunmetal color, Just a little darker though, I had a 89 Mustang ssp that dark charcoal color im thinking about and i loved it. Just wondering if it would look weird on the cl. But im leaning more towards black though.

 

java black pearl off of the subaru sti is nice.
or carbon black off of the bmw m3

i thought so, but it wasnt for me, it was for LOS since he is stuck on a black..

im thinking burgandy or copper. has to be a perfect shade though...oh well..

im gonna have to be careful though cause later on if i sell, i dont wanna have a color nobody likes...

 

If you are even thinking of selling it, painting the car is going to be a waste of money. It wont pay off in the resale value.

 

haha yea im stuck on black. That java black looks nice from what pics i can find online. the carbon black is nice too but i cant find good pictures to really distinguish the two

 

carbon black has blue pearl and java black has gold pearl...
carbon black would be nice with ebony interior, java would be nice with tan interior

 

I'd probably do a really dark cherry red. I think that would look hot on a CL

saw the porsche today, and that is an ugly color in person.
i did see the burgandy on the new mdx and it was great

 

If I had to do it all over again I'd pick aegean blue pearl. Best color ever! Not too bright not too dark, just right!

I don't remember there officially being a flat black CL on Azine but...

There was a photochop done that I saved. The lines on the CL aren't sharp enough to compliment flat black.

on the orange car at the bottom fo the first page, whats the front bumper off of? or is that a body kit? looks tight
