If Ur Cl-s Was In A Fire Would You Repair It???

if youre cl-s was in a fire would you still repair it after.?? meaning there be nothing left on the outside just hashed exterior.. with all trims handles emblems headlights taillights spoiler headliner wiper cowl rear view mirror an side mirrors metled all down, throttle cable stuck, tranny couldnt shift out of park unless you use a 2nd key to unlock it ,windshield has a huge hole the size of a oil barrel...would you still attempt to repair the car even do the body chassis metal has been heated up an wireing has been heated up an could rust an cause problems later.?? just wonderring what some of you would do

definitely start looking for another one or something new...there's still a decent amount of CLs out there. If nothing else, think of it as an opportunity to upgrade to a 6 speed.

Nope.

Hate to say it, but the CL is just another disposable commuter car... it's not like it's a classic collectible ferrari

Hell No!

I wouldn't even keep my CL if was involved in a fender bender. Im weird about that stuff

I knew a kid in HS that was speeding and crashed his car and died. The insurance company fixed his car and gave it back to his parents. Still to this day the car sits at the end of their road cause they refuse to sell it to anyone.

dam even though i buy salvage cars and fix them but i LAWAYS STAY AWAY from WATER DAMAGE AND FIRE DAMAGE. those can really make you lose money most of the times because of all the wireing and electronics and what not. SO the answer is NO don't fix it.

Even that sounds like too much work for me. I'd take all the parts that are good, and just toss the rest and start again with another car.

No. It's a lost cause. Not worth it at all. I say try to part out what you can and sell the rest as scrap metal. Might make a bit off of that. I would assume that it would cost a lot more than 8k to fix the car as well.
