My 97 3.0 is getting tired.....100,500 miles, my baby needs a rest soon. I'm looking at a CL-S, but I'm not sure which year to get. I'd like one with Navi, preferably in White w/Ebony. I'd most definetly switch to 03 Heads and Tails, but other than that, what are the major differences?

I know from 01/02 to 03 the grill went body color, the heads got darker, the tails had the white strip at the top (which I love!), but what else?

Which would you recommend.....01, 02, or 03? And I'm thinking a 6 speed will be impossible to find in the color/options I want.

Sorry if I sound super n00bish, but hey.....I kinda am.

I wouldn't be to sure about that. There was a time about a month or 2 ago where there must have been 2 or 3 6spds for sale in the black market.

Check autotrader.com You just might find one.

03 Nighthawk 6 spd w/nav. That is what I would get if I could have any CL in the world.

get one with LOW miles... because the tranny will be covered until 100k

If it doesn't matter too much about 6spd/5A then i'd try and find a 2001-02 model (much more selection) and just add the few cosmetic pieces ya want.

I'd kill for a 6 speed in nighthawk/ebony. Navi would just be extra icing on the cake.

I woulnd't get an auto because of the tranny problems. Make me a good enough offer on my 01 black/black and i'll sell it tho

i was looking at an s4 yesterday, an 01 with neuspeed exhuast, lowered, tinted windows, its imola yellow, but there was an anthracite cls 6spd there for sale, looked pretty nice, im going back to test drive the s4 today, ill take pics of both

i got 2002 CL-S red & black with navi...its auto..very happy with it. yeah def look for one with low miles !!!!!
