If i lower, will i CAMBER???????

Hey guys i am thinking about lowering my 01 cl. I had a civic before this car and after i lowered it the front and the rear both cambered in and i had to buy kits for them. They tires really wore until i got them! IS this the same for the cl's! Or can i just lower them and not worry about them? Also how low should i go! some pix would be appreciated! Thanks kambiet@vct.net

I had to do a rear camber kit.

Others claim not to need one, but I sure did.

I just noticed that I have some inside tire wear on my car. I carry a lot of tools for work in the trunk, but I am gonna get the camber kit now.

Click on the link in my sig below to see pics of my car before and after.

You shouldnt need one for the Comptechs.. but if you go with anything lower, like Eibach or H&R, you will probably get some negative camber that wont align into spec w/o a kit

Since our control arms are not adjustable you "will" need a camber kit. Some negative camber is "good" for the car (helps with cornering). Just remember, the lower the car, the more negative camber you will get. Eibach has a camber/alignment kit (part # 567090K) for about $160 (plus shipping). Thats less than the cost of 2 new tires

It all depends on how low you drop your car. If you are looking at comptech springs, no need for a camber kit. Just make sure you rotate your tires at least every 5-7k miles
