If Acura called the CL the Legend, it would sell.

Haha...Yeah, the 93-95, and earlier G1(86-90) coupes had L E G E N D written across the trunk...and Acura in the corner....U basically just noticed the L E G E N D....So....they got rid of the legend model and stopped putting the Acura small and in the corner and made it huge, and centered in the middle like the L E G E N D was....

I agree with below... just don't tell HellaWhat, he is of the opinion that the CL is spawned from the VIGOR.

Here, maybe if I make my font like yours, you'd comprehend. You know nate, for an idiot you are fairly stupid. I didn't say the VIGOR spawned the CL/TL... did I? In my post I said in Acura's current lineup, the CL/TL is to the NEW LINEUP to what the old VIGOR was in relation to the OLD lineup. Now do I think the CL/TL came from the Legend? Dumbass, of course I do. I used to have a 93 Legend Coupe to my name before it became my brother's.

Pretty defensive there ... much improvement on the spelling though.

You said:

CL/TL = VIGOR

I guess an = doesn't mean much to you, so then:

you = ignorant

ONCE AND FOR ALL

Remember the old scheme?!

Legend = High end
Vigor = Mid Range
Integra = Low End

Now...

RL = Legend
Cl/TL = Vigor
RSX = Integra

I am CONTRASTING the OLD lineup to the new lineup and their equivalents.....

Correlation being?
Seems like you are tring to over do it with fitting the old scheme into the current lineup. You must have really enjoyed legos as a child or something.

You know for someone who has called me ignorant, you're not too attentive to someone else's points are you. BTW... even putting my name on your pic with your dad ain't gonna help.
Seems like you're trying to over do it by making me accept what you have to say because I have violated the sanctity of the LEGEND... HAHA OH NO, FORGIVE ME.

Going back to the begining. It is easy to see that you are making the Vigor fit the CL today.

I believe the RL was designed to be a higher class than the Legend, look at the RL's price and who buys them. My grandparents have an RL, was the Legend mostly a "Grandparents Car," I think not.

The TL and CL seem to have followed the Legend's place. Realize this is totally different than saying CL/TL is the Legend (or TL/CL = Legend).

Remember that the CL/TL are no techically the Legend!

Legend = High end
Vigor = Mid Range
Integra = Low End

RL = Legend
Cl/TL = Vigor
RSX = Integra

Yes I know the Legend was the one that had a 2-door and four door combo, but still

Look on the bright side... if the CL is going to be stopped, it'll satisfy all you that have problems with newer versions of cars coming out...

That's exactly what I am doing and so? Is there anything wrong with that? Even if the CL/TL series was named Legend, would it help? The Legend was Acura's Flagship model, the CL and while the TL itself is Acura's best selling car, the role of Flagship has been moved to the RL. You can only hide so much with a name...

After all that, I finally got you to admit you were comparing the CL/TL to the Vigor.

I think you are wrong because it would not give the TL credit.
Because even though the CL does not have high sales numbers the TL does. Vigor, please the Vigor was more like = Accord in my opinion. Hella

"Your" opinion is the operative word now, isn't it? You didn't get me to admit shiet... What YOU are trying to get me to say is that I am saying the CL/TL series SPAWNED from the Vigor when all I am saying is that it's the fookin equivalent to it in the Alpha numeric lineup.

The problem with calling the CL a legend is that its not up to par with the legend. Just my 2 cents ;-)

I never said that, both cars have their pluses and minuses. I said if Honda wanted to sell more CLs not the if Honda wanted to be morally good.
