Idea for those with Koni's...Hole in rear deck...

OK this is a stupid request, but nevertheless something which might be worth doing.

I have the Koni's on my car, and the rear are like a bitch and a half to adjust (haveto pull out the seat back, etc, etc.) now I was thinking of possibly drilling a hole in the rear deck and putting a cover over the hole were I could remove it and then adjust the shocks without removing the rear seat back.

Does anyone see how this might be problematic?? More vibration from something, or would the rear deck be less solid??

I have holes drilled in the rear deck for when I had konis...

The previous owner did it... however you do need to have an extension for the koni knob...

I just need TEIN to make a EDFC module for the front which is small enough to fit under the CL hood now.

But that idea is a good one...for the konis.

What Type of Extension?? I know NSXPrime has a pretty nice extension they custom made for Koni's, alot better material also then the POS plastic ones that came with the Koni's.

On a side note....

Anyone have an alternative to that crappy POS plastic knob adjustment for the Koni's? That piece of plastic is pretty flimsey, and I don't really want to gamble and try to use plier's to adjust the shocks.

Nope. Blxjmx test fitted it on bobowah's car and the rears fit fine. The front was about half an inch off. Tein has released the EDFC for the 99+ Tl and we thought it would fit the CL...nope.

Not unless you redesing the hood or something. As far as taking it apart...I doubt it. The EDFC can still be used for the rears independtly, but that's like $300 wasted to just be able to control the rears.

I've got the TEINs and I thought about cutting the board back there but decided it wouldn't even be worth it.

the way the top of the strut tilts in the adjustment knob sat right under the edge of the speaker grill. It would be a pain to get...hole or no hole.
