I just installed the icebox and I am getting a high pitched drone when idle or cruising idle. It sounds and works great otherwise especially WOT. When I popped the hood and put my hand on the icebox the vibration goes away. Has anyone ever ran into this before?

i think its the intake and ecu adjusting to your car but it should be gone within a day. did u try unplugging your battery and reseting everything? that might do the trick.

Are you sure the screws arent loose? If you can stop the vibration with your hand on top of the icebox, it is probably rattling against something or the top may be loose. The ecu should have nothing to do with this. Its a noise problem, not a computer adjusting problem. The computer will not change the noises you are hearing.

well im just going by what he told me. thought the idle was some what of a whistling noise and yes i believe when you first install the intake it takes a little while for the ecu getting use to it since the intake allows more airflow and the ecu isnt use to that. but the ecu should have adjusted after about 10-15 mins.

Yes the vibration stops when I put my hand on the top of it. I think it was missing one of the screws that goes into the sidewall so maybe Ill pick one up from the hardware store and see if that fixes it
