anyone have one. 6 speed of 5 id doesnt matter, just wanna hear how it sounds. you dont have to explain the sound, i wanna hear it.

 

Listen to a AEM CAI too. Night and day difference.

 

Go out and listen to your engine now...that is what it sounds like. I really didn't notice any difference in sound after I had mine installed. It might be slightly louder at WOT. The AEM is way louder.

 

well i just got the icebox installed and it isnt that loud at all. i didnt expect it to be as loud as aem but i thought it would be a little louder. u can still hear it, but its not that noticeable.

anyway, i am satisfied with it, and once the pcm relearns itself, i will be able to tell the gains.

 

AEM CAI and the ICE box are night and day different in sound.

AEM rocks.

 

well i wanted to look more stock looking so that is the reason why i went with the icebox.

you will like the way the aem sounds, but the icebox has a nice clean stock look.

AEM is way too loud for me. It hisses and sucks super loud. And is even loud at idle. The icebox isn't noticable unless you are in Vtec. I put on the K&N cone filter on the Icebox today and that made it louder but still, nothing like the whooooosh, suck, hiss you get from the AEM.

 

their shouldnt be any water issues with icebox right considering it is all sealed up? just curious, cause i know on my other car my cai was in the fender well and ther was risks of getting water in there.

 

AEM= high loud
ICE BOX= deep rumble

 

does anyone have the part # for the k&n cone for a 03 cl-s auto?

and is it noticeably louder replacing the k&n?

mrsteve, I was thinking of doing the K&N filter in the icebox too .. did you have that part number handy? and the site you bought it from? is it louder in vtec?
