Ice Vs. Cl-S

Ice wins Last thursday night we got about 7 inches of snow in Chicago so I finished snow blowing my driveways and headed to work. After work I come home at around 10:30PM to find that the snow plow had plowed me in. I being the dumbass that I am didnt realize that since it was about 10 degres out that the snow would be iced over but i tried to go through it anyway.....Wel i got stuck and cracked my bumper. I will try to take pics tomorrow, the good news is the insurance it covering it under comprehensive so my rates shouldnt go up and all my rock chips will be gone. Watch for ice you guys it caused my car $700 worth in damage

Ice won against me too, and cost me about $2700. Ripped my back bumper clean off, and cracked my front bumper. At least you can be like me and get a brand new bumper. =]

I had an interesting experience this morning...talk about being super slick

Coming to a stop at an intersection theh whole ass end of the car came out (CAME OUT ON THE LEFT SIDE) VSA is great to have as I turned the car to the left and the car straightened right out and I was able to move back into the right lane.

Thankfully no one was around......

On my way to Idaho Friday night into Saturday early morning I got caught in very dense fog for 2 1/2 hours The icy fog was making my car crystalize on the outside.

And did I mention it was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuppppppppppppppper icy. The temp gauge went all the way down to 15 degrees (I don't normally drive in this kind of weather) . Icicles were forming off the side mirrors.

When I got out of the fog towards Spokane, the temp went up to 26 degrees.......still icy.
