Ice and CV Shafts Don't Play Well Together
Spun the tires a bit leaving a light yesterday. Hear a pop and roll into a parking lot. No power to the wheels. Have it towed to my family shop.
Get a text this morning that it's the left CV shaft (also need a lower ball joint on that side replaced).
So when can I have it done? "It already is. Had it taken care of last night."
Winter isn't kind to cars but having a good shop will always get you through.

Yup. They recommended I think about replacing the other one some time in the future. Will do so in the spring when my winter tires come off. Said salt and water get in the rubber vibration dampener and cause it to break down over time.
